At St. John Bosco Academy, we take pride in our outstanding curriculum that challenges our students to achieve academic excellence.
We are committed to meeting the educational needs of the individual student. Our excellent student-teacher ratio assures that your child will get the attention and support needed to reach their highest potential.
Fewer students per teacher enables teachers to better accommodate varying learning styles. Some children learn through technology-based and hands-on activities while others learn by traditional reading and lecture styles.
It has been well documented that there is a direct correlation between the number of students in a class and success rates. Smaller class sizes allow teachers to identify any specific needs early on; lesson-plan adjustments are made and applied immediately. This translates into customized teaching to your child's needs and learning style.
If needed, additional support is available through our Guidance Counselor, Speech Clinician, Reading Specialist, and the the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit.
St. John Bosco Academy is accredited by the Middle States Association.
